OPTOMAP
We provide OPTOMAP retinal imaging as standard of care for all exams. It is an advanced ultra-wide digital retinal imaging that allows us to view the back health of the eye similarly to dilation but without drops or side effects ( blurred near vision and light sensitivity for 3-4 hours). The OPTOMAP image can detect problems more quickly, easily and can be saved for future comparisons.
Our Doctor
Cindy Truong, O.D.
Dr. Cindy Truong was born and raised in Houston, Texas. She graduated from Houston Baptist University with Bachelor of Science degrees in Biology and Biochemistry/Molecular Biology. She received her Doctorate of Optometry from the University of Houston College of Optometry. During her specialty clinical rotations at the Good Neighbor Eye Clinic in Houston and Cedar Springs Clinic in Dallas, she was able to provide contact lens fittings and diagnose and treat many anterior and posterior segment ocular diseases for Houston and Dallas’ indigent population.
Dr. Truong has also participated in See to Succeed kid's vision program providing full comprehensive exams and corrective eyewear to underprivileged school children in Houston area schools along with the help of her fellow colleagues. Dr. Truong is state licensed in the treatment and management of ocular disease and is an optometric glaucoma specialist.
Dr. Truong has participated in a medical mission trip to Mexico and short term mission trips to Nepal and Germany with her church. She is active in her local church community serving in the children’s ministry. Dr. Truong recently moved to Denver and looks forward to exploring the mountains!
